The Ground Rules
These Terms govern your use of the NewDev website and our professional services. We keep things straightforward: by using our website or hiring us to build your product, you agree to these terms. They're designed to protect both sides and ensure a smooth, professional engagement.
What We Deliver
NewDev provides end-to-end software development — from rapid MVP builds to enterprise-scale systems. Every engagement starts with a clear project agreement that defines scope, timelines, deliverables, tech stack, and pricing. No hidden fees. No scope surprises. If changes arise, we discuss them transparently and agree in writing before any additional work begins.
Payment Terms
Payment schedules are defined in each project agreement, typically structured as milestone-based installments. We begin work upon receiving the agreed initial payment. All fees are quoted in USD unless stated otherwise. Late payments beyond 14 days may result in project pauses until the balance is resolved. We're flexible and fair — communication is key.
Intellectual Property — It's 100% Yours
This is non-negotiable: upon full payment, you own everything. All custom source code, designs, databases, architecture documentation, and deliverables become your exclusive property. We sign strict NDAs and transfer full IP rights. NewDev retains only the right to reference general (non-proprietary) methodologies and tools in future work. Your competitive advantage stays yours.
Our 12-Month Code Warranty
We stand behind our work. Every project comes with a 12-month warranty covering critical bugs related to our code architecture. If something breaks due to our engineering, we fix it — free of charge. This warranty reflects our confidence in the quality of code we ship and our commitment to long-term client success.
Confidentiality
We treat every project as highly confidential. All team members working on your project sign NDAs before touching a single line of code. Your business logic, user data, trade secrets, and strategic plans are protected with the same rigor we apply to enterprise-grade security architecture.
Limitation of Liability
While we pour everything into delivering exceptional results, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost revenue or data loss resulting from third-party services or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Ending an Engagement
Either party may terminate a project with written notice as outlined in the project agreement. Upon termination: all completed work and source code are transferred to you immediately, and any outstanding invoices become due. We believe in clean exits — no hostage situations with your code, ever.
