What this service covers
A voice agent is rarely the whole product. It needs somewhere to live: a dashboard where someone reviews call transcripts, an admin area for changing prompts without a deploy, authentication, billing, and analytics that answer whether the thing is working. The agent itself is covered under voice AI development.
I build that layer too, which is the practical reason clients hire one engineer instead of a voice specialist plus a web team. React and Next.js on the front, Python with FastAPI or Django, Node.js or Golang behind it, PostgreSQL or Supabase underneath, and multi-tenant architecture with subscription billing where the product is SaaS.
Fifteen years and more than eighty products means most of the architectural decisions in front of you are ones I have made before, and some I have made badly enough to have learned from.
