Fifteen years of software, the last one spent on voice
I am a voice AI engineer based in Ho Chi Minh City. Over fifteen years I have worked on more than eighty products across SaaS, AI, e-commerce and consumer platforms, and for the last few years almost entirely on AI features that survive contact with real users.
The work that defines what I do now was a year on the conversational layer of a consumer voice AI companion, live on Google Play: audio streaming both ways over WebSockets, a pipelined speech-to-text, model and speech synthesis chain, and interruption handling built in rather than bolted on. That project is where I learned that a voice agent is a latency-budgeting problem wearing an AI costume.
Since 2022 I have led AI and ML work at Wolffun Game, a Vietnamese studio whose titles serve millions of players: LLM-powered NPC dialogue and in-game assistants, ML matchmaking and anti-cheat, churn and LTV prediction pipelines, and real-time voice and chat moderation built on Whisper plus LLM classifiers. Before that I built e-commerce APIs and data pipelines at Cellphones, one of Vietnam's largest electronics retailers, and worked in backend and data engineering at PMax.
